Lately I’ve had a ton of breakthroughs with God. It’s sweet, emotional, and filled with love every single time. My latest realization was about how I talk to God. Most often I don’t hear Gods voice, it’s something I’ve been working on, but I do sometimes get to see things. I used to think these were small things like a possible outcome, or something I wished for. But the more they came, and came true, the more I realized they were God speaking to me. Just this week though I’ve had this newest realization, God told me I’d be here and who I’d be with.
Back in November, after training camp, I had a dream where I looked down from a balcony covered in vines and looked at Lynneal, Victoria, Jerome, and Tito. Later on in the same dream I walked down the street laughing with Jackie and got ice cream from a small shop, as I was eating it a piece broke off. Wellllll let me tell you what. Everything in that dream came true Thursday while we were in town. Right down to the order they were standing in on the street and what I got at the ice cream place.
Now it would be easy to say that it was just my mind making things up way back then. But at the time I only knew who my team was, I didn’t know we’d be paired up with another team. I didn’t know who that team would be, I didn’t know where we would be going. In fact, this was the second instance in the last week of something similar.
There’s no way in the world that this wasn’t from God. So here I sit, in a rooftop cafe, writing a blog about it while I pray to God that He keeps this line of contact open. That He keeps talking to me and assuring me in this same way. And since that day dreams have been so sweet and I write them down now waiting for the day I see them in my life.
Here’s to finding new ways God speaks to you, no matter how odd they may seem. So now I want to challenge you brothers and sisters, what is a way God talks to you that you might not fully understand? In the next month or so open that door, pray into it. Let Him move you in new ways and show you his majesty. All my love.
Wow! Sarah, that’s AWESOME!!! So glad the Lord is giving you dreams!!!
Incredible testimony of Gods faithfulness!
wow is an understatement Sarah, that’s crazy stuff, a supernatural Creator God doing supernatural things like giving dreams to his sons and daughters. It actually sounds like par for the course biblically, historically , and among the nations ( ESPECIALLY 3RD WORLD) , but seemigly rare in our reasonable/rational western christian experience sadly.
Keep asking, seeking, believing, and expecting Sarah, and greater realizations and breakthroughs will be coming.
What a Faith-builder for sure!
