We’re traveling the world, I mean Central/South America for now, so that brings a lot of questions on food. Let me tell you guys, we eat a lot. I mean there’s the normal rice and beans, but I feel like I should share the more out there foods. The foods we truly survive on. The kind we will go hunting for in a town and buy all of when we find it. The kind we let others know where to find. What truly fuels a World Racer.

I feel that it’s only right to list these and show some pictures. Just so you can truly understand the experience. Disclaimer: not every racer eats all of these foods. But they probably eat at least one.

  1. Peanut butter. In any form. From any brand. If we find peanut butter it’s a good day
(Surprisingly we didn’t have any for me to get a picture of)

2.  Granola. It can be homemade (Shoutout to Victoria because she makes the best) or store bought. But any kind of granola can be found near racers.

3. Coffee. Be it black, with sugar, maybe creamer. Racers have a way to find coffee in almost any situation.

4. Nuts. Mostly it’s peanuts, but sometimes you can find a thing of mixed nuts. But if you can find them, they won’t last the night in a store because all will be bought.

5. Rotisserie chicken. If a store has them then you’ll find them in the fridge at home. It doesn’t matter what flavor because they can be added to so much. We use it to make squad/team meals, as a snack, or sólo meals.

6. Ketchup/ bbq sauce. You can find these almost anywhere. They can be added to almost anything for flavor and we’ve 100% tested that idea.

7. Chiky. It doesn’t matter the flavor, although the cafe is the best. If you can find them in store at least three racers have them in their personal stash. Deals are made in trade for them, swaps for other foods happen. All around they might as well be a type of currency.

There are so many more but as of now those are the top foods. While we love our local foods and trying new things, these will always make a place in a racers diet.
